Dr. Necat Kaplan was born in Siirt in 1976 and completed his primary, secondary, and high school education there.
Dr. Necat Kaplan began his medical education at Atatürk University Faculty of Medicine in 1992.
He began his general surgery specialization training at Ankara Training and Research Hospital in 2000 and completed his specialization in 2005, becoming a General Surgery Specialist. After completing his specialization in 2005, he worked as a specialist doctor in state and private hospitals in Siirt, Yalova, Bursa, and Istanbul.
He has received training and gained experience in obesity and metabolic surgery, advanced laparoscopic surgery, and laparoscopic gastrointestinal surgery.
He is one of the first physicians in our country to perform advanced laparoscopic surgeries and has extensive experience in the field of obesity and metabolic surgery, having performed nearly 2000 surgeries.
He has participated in numerous training seminars, symposiums, and congresses both in Turkey and abroad on obesity and metabolic surgery.
Although Op. Dr. Necat Kaplan has experience in approximately 6000 general surgical operations over more than 20 years, in recent years he has focused solely on obesity and metabolic surgery.
Dr. Necat Kaplan, who is married and has two children, serves his patients at Kadıköy Medicana Hospital.
